" What are you doing here ? We've been searching all over for you." , Reyansh approached her in his office, inquiring about her being here .

When she remained silent, he let out a frustrated sigh and stepped closer.

" You shouldn't have come here, Ms. Singh. Everyone is worried about you .",  he said.

" Please, Rajvanshi, don't annoy me. I'm already stressed." , She  responds and turned away .

" Is there a problem you can share with me? If that guy has a problem, feel free to tell me." , he asked her

" I don't want to marry that jerk. But Dad wasn't ready to listen to me, understand me, or give me any options." , she scoffed and Reyansh let out a chuckle followed by earning a hard glare from her .

"  I'm sorry, never mind. I couldn't control myself - you walk around like a fierce lioness, but can't convince your family, woah Ms. Reet Singh ? That's strange. Sorry again." , He said as he couldn't control his laugh

" Shut up Rajvanshi if you don't want to get killed by my hands . " , she retorted making him shut his mouth.

" Well I'm not implying anything, Reet but rest assured, everyone is concerned, including your Dadu and parents. Let's head back to your place and try to reason with them , they'll likely try to understand your perspective. " , he tries make her understand

" And what if they don't ? '" , she questioned

" Don't worry, I'm here to support you; just be open with them, and I'll help with the rest. Running away isn't a viable solution. And wasn't even expected from you  . So let's return home; your family is extremely worried. " , he told her and she nodded

" I guess you're Rajvanshi , Running away isn't an option . " she said, standing up from the chair and heading towards the parking lot.

"Let's go."

"Nothing will go wrong, everything will work out. They'll understand. Just be honest and tell them you don't want to marry him, and that's it." ,  Reyansh started the car and reassured her.

Reet nodded silently, lost in thought once again.

After some time at Reet's house;

" Mera bacha ! Beta, where have you been? We were worried sick about you ! " , Reet's mother said while tears were streaming down from her eyes and  embraced her warmly as soon as she walked in the door .

"I'm really sorry, Mom .",  Reet apologized.

Reet then turned to her father & grandfather and said,

"Dad, dadu ,  please forgive me. I was left with no choice and didn't know what else to do. I'm so sorry ."

" Beta , If you didn't want to get engaged, you should have informed me, why did you feel forced to take matters into your own hands? " ,  her grandfather said as he embraced her in his arms .

" Dadu , I'm sorry, but I did express my concerns to dad , yet he ignored me, leaving me no choice. " , she replied, embracing her grandfather.

" I'll handle him later , but explain to me, why did you leave the house ? What's the reason you don't wish to get engaged to Samar ? "  , her grandfather inquired

Her family bombarded her with numerous questions, making it increasingly hard for her to respond.

She glanced at Reyansh, who was standing alongside Laksh and Veer, and he offered her a reassuring nod.

Reet reciprocated with a similar gesture.

"I'm sorry Rajvanshi, please forgive me ." ,  she mouthed to Reyansh, leaving him perplexed.

He wondered why she was apologizing to him, but her next words left him traumatized for the rest of his life.

" I have to tell you everything ." ,she began.

"I don't want to hide it anymore. Yes, I don't want to marry that Samar because... Rajvan- no i mean Reyansh  and I, we're in love and can't live without each other. We want to get married, but we were scared of how you'd react. Now, I guess we can't hide it anymore. We truly love each other .  Heina Ansh ? " she said in one breath, leaving everyone stunned.

Everyone was shocked, exclaiming "What?" because it was common knowledge that the two individuals despised each other, making the situation utterly unbelievable.

Reyansh was left with a lifelong trauma after she lied to everyone without any hesitation, the sound of her voice still echoing in his mind.

“ Mai - ye or wo bhi pyar . Hey bhagwan bhlai ka to zamana he nai rha . Kesi jhuthi - makkar aurat hai , pyar - shadi , ye- Mai . Hey bhagwan mujhe chakkar aare hai.  ” , As he utters these words, he collapses, leaving everyone stunned and shocked.

( Me & she in love ? Oh God, there's no time for pretenses, is there ? She's just deceiving me with talk of love, marriage, and all that, isn't she? God, help me, my head is spinning. )

" Reyansh, what's wrong ?  Bhai  wake up ! " , Laksh and Veer exclaimed in panic as he collapsed and fainted.

" Did he die from shock ? " Reet whispered, rushing towards him.

" oh God, I didn't tell such a huge lie, did i ? please save him. " , she mumbled while patting his cheeks .
